CLEAR ANSWERS
Tomant is a rial-pegged token concept for business payments, designed around a proposed 1 TOMANT to 1 Iranian rial (IRR) reference. It connects rial-denominated business flows with digital assets; final issuance, backing, redemption, and service terms are defined in the relevant agreements.
That is a core use case. The payment design can connect a rial-denominated invoice to an agreed digital asset and settlement flow. Supported assets, eligibility, conversion quotes, fees, and settlement conditions need to be agreed before payments are accepted.
Supplier purchasing is another intended use case. The supplier must accept the agreed asset and meet the applicable eligibility requirements. Tomant does not make every merchant accept crypto or remove legal, banking, or network constraints.
A rial peg targets the nominal value of the Iranian rial. It does not protect against rial inflation or exchange-rate changes against other currencies. Other crypto assets still require a separate conversion quote.
The technical direction is an EVM-compatible network using the ERC-20 token standard. The specific network, official contract information, and supported integrations must be confirmed in the deployment documentation.
Review the issuer identity, reserve and custody arrangements, independent-review evidence, redemption rights, liquidity, fees, network security, eligibility, and operational responsibilities. The trust page provides a clear starting point for that discussion.
